  • Popis: A trip around Emilia Romagna Documentation of the “Meeting with the foreign and Italian press promoted by the Region of Emilia Romagna” (27-31 May 1972). The first press conference is held in Bologna, at the Palazzo della Regione in Viale Silvani. Guido Fanti, President of the Regional Council, hosts the event, along with the Mayor of Bologna Renato Zangheri, and councillors Stefani, Stefanini, Ceccaroni, Ferrari, Bartoli, Turci and Bocchi. The second day opens at the Thermal Centre in Cervia, a meeting is being held between the Mayor of Cervia, Regional Councillor for Tourism Walter Ceccaroni, Councillor for Environmental Protection Mauro La Forgia, Councillor for Urban Planning in Bologna Pier Luigi Cervellati and the Director of the Pinacotheca of Bologna Andrea Emiliani. One of the points discussed is the creation of a “multi-purpose park” in the Province of Ferrara. The delegation then visits the Pomposa Basilica, Bosco della Mesola and Valli di Comacchio (Po Delta National Park, Sacca di Goro), which includes a visit to an eel farm. On the third day, the delegation first visits the port and industrial areas (Anic-Eni plant) in Ravenna, then the natural oasis in Punte Alberete. The council meets journalists at the Alighieri Theatre in Ravenna. The last day is held in Rimini, seen through some shots of the Emilia-Romagna Riviera. They visit a water treatment plant, built as part of a project called “Operation Clean Sea”, involving the town districts of Cervia, Bellaria, Gatteo, Rimini, Riccione, Misano, Cesenatico and Cattolica. The final press conference takes place in a garden outside Villa Des Vergers. Among those present, in addition to Fanti, are the Mayor of Rimini Pagliarani, and municipal councillors Ceccaroni and Pescarini. This film is the property of the Emilia-Romagna Gramsci Foundation.
